Dear Sir,

I have the honour to refer to the Agreement on Technical Co-ope-
ration in Agriculture between the Republic of China and Saint
Vincent and the Grenadines, which was signed on August 31st, 198
2 for the first time and renewed every two years since then.
During recent discussions relating to the agreement, the follow-
ing understanding was related:

(a) That the aforesaid Agreement shall be renewed for a period
of two (2) Years with effect from August 31st, 2000.

(b) All the terms and conditions of the aforesaid Agreement sha-
ll remain the same.
On behalf of the Government of Saint Vincent and Grenadines, I
have the honour to state that this Note and your reply confirmi-
ng the abovementioned understanding shall constitute an Agreeme-
nt supplemental to the aforesaid Agreement.

Accept, Sir, the renewed assurance of my highest consideration.

Your Excellency,

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's
letter of August 23, 2000 which reads as follows:

"I have the honour refer to the Agreement on Technical Cooperat-
ion in Agriculture between the Republic of China and Saint Vinc-
ent and the Grenadines, which was signed on August 31st, 1982
for the first time and renewed every two years since then.

(a) That the aforesaid Agreement shall be renewed for a period
of two years with effect from August 31, 2000.

(b) All the terms and conditions of the aforesaid Agreement sha-
ll remain the same.

On behalf of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,
I have the honour to state that this Note and your reply confir-
ming the abovementioned understanding shall constitute an Agree-
ment supplemental to the aforesaid Agreement.

Accept, Sir, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

In reply, I have the honour to confirm, on behalf of the Govern-
ment of the Republic of China, that Your Excellency's Note and
this reply acceding thereto shall constitute an Agreement suppl-
emental to the above-mentioned Agreement.

Accept, Your Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest
consideration.
