Your Excellency,
I have the honour to refer to the 1972 Agreement on Technical C-
o-operation in the agricultural field between the Republic of C-
hina and the Kingdom of Swaziland, which was renewed, respectiv-
ely on 27th June, 1975 and 10th May, 1977.
2 During recent discussions relating to the Agreement, the foll-
owing understanding was reached:
(a) That the aforesaid Agreement shall be renewed for a period
of three years with retrospective effect from May 10, 1980
;
(b) All the terms and conditions of the aforesaid Agreement as
amended by the exchange of Notes dated 27th June, 1975 sha-
ll remain the same.
3 On behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland, I ha-
ve the honour to state that this Note and Your Excellency's r-
eply confirming the abovementioned understanding shall consti-
tute an Agreement supplemental to the aforesaid Agreement.
4 Accept, Your Excellency, the renewed assurance of my highest
consideration.

I have the honour to acknowledge receipt 1972 Agreement on Tech-
nical Co-operation in the agricultural field between the Republ-
ic of China and the Kingdom of Swaziland, which was renewed,res-
pectively on 27th June, 1975 and 10th May, 1977.
