Dear Representative Lee,
I am writing on behalf of INDECOPI to express our interest in
extending the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on
January 14, 2015, between INDECOPI and Taipei Economic and
Cultural Office in Peru for a term of one year.
According to Articles 5.2 and 5.3 of the MOU:
“Article 5. Final Provisions
5.2 This MOU may be extended for a further period by agreement
between the Parties.
5.3 The Parties may amend and supplement this MOU at any time by
mutual written consent. ”
As per the above, by formally expressing our interest in
extending the validity of the MOU for an additional year, I have
the honor to propose that your letter in reply shall indicate
that we have reached an understanding for extension of term of
the MOU between our institutions, and that this will constitute
an integral part of the MOU.
Finally, allow me to express our gratitude for the work of the
expert team organized by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office
in Peru for the academic activity this year and for the support
received from your side.
I take this opportunity to reiterate the assurances of my
highest consideration.

MOU.
