沿革:
1.Signed on June 29, 2018 Entered into force on June 29, 2018

 
The Taipei Economic and Trade Office, Jakarta, Indonesia (TETO)
and the Indonesian Economic and Trade Office to Taipei (IETO),
hereinafter singularly referred to as the ‘ Party ’ and
collectively as ‘ the Parties ’;

DESIRING to cooperate in the field of technical and vocational
education and training development for industry; and

WISHING to enhance cooperation and business opportunity between
their Industries on the basis of mutual interest and benefit;

TAKING INTO ACCOUNT Letter of Intent between the Taipei Economic
and Trade Office, Jakarta, Indonesia and the Indonesian Economic
and Trade Office to Taipei regarding Cooperation on Professional
Education for Trade and Industry signed in Taipei on March 22,
2018;

PURSUANT to the prevailing laws and regulations of the
respective countries;

HAVE REACHED the following understandings:

Paragraph 1 Objectives
The objectives of this Memorandum of Understanding, hereinafter
referred to as the ‘ MOU ’, are as follows:
a. To enhance Indonesian industrial human resources capacity
through technical training and education development for
industry with the objective to provide skilled workers
required by industry,
b. To enhance cooperation between the industries of the Parties,
and
c. To strengthen bilateral economic and trade relations as well
as industrial cooperation.

Paragraph 2 Scope of Cooperation
The scope of cooperation of this MOU shall include the following
activities:
a. Technical and vocational education and training in
mechanical, or electrical, or automation machine tools,
and/or other field related to machine tools industry agreed
upon by the Parties;
b. Other capacity building activities and/or other forms of
cooperation agreed upon by the Parties in writing.

Paragraph 3 Implementation of the Cooperation Activity
The Parties agree to jointly complete an Technical Arrangement
on technical and vocational education and training in machine
tools after the signing of this MOU.

Paragraph 4 Implementing Agencies
The Parties designate the following agencies to implement this
MOU:
a. For IETO: related agencies responsible for the technical and
vocational education and training development for industry;
and
b. For TETO: the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic
Affairs

Paragraph 5 Amendments
This MOU may be amended at any time in writing through mutual
consent of the Parties. Such amendment shall enter into force on
the date as may be determined by the Parties and shall form an
integral part of this MOU.

Paragraph 6 Settlement of Disputes
Any dispute arising from interpretation and/or implementation of
this MOU shall be settled amicably through consultation or
negotiation between the Parties.

Paragraph 7 Entry into Force, Duration and Termination
1. This MOU shall enter into force on the date of its signing.
2. This MOU shall remain valid for a period of 1 (one) year and
may be extended by mutual consent of the Parties in writing.
3. If either Party wishes to terminate this MOU, such Party
shall notify the other Party of its intention in writing six
months in advance.
4. In the event of such termination, the provisions of this MOU
shall remain applicable to ongoing programs undertaken under
this MOU, until their completion thereof unless the Parties
agree otherwise.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being duly authorized
thereto, have signed this MOU.

Done in duplicate in Taipei on 29th of June, 2018 in the
Chinese, Indonesian and English languages, all texts being
equally authentic. In case of any discrepancy of interpretation,
the English text shall prevail.
