Note No. CE 89/160
The Embassy of the Republic of China presents its compliments to
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Kingdom of Swa-
ziland and has the honor to advise that the Agreement on Handic-
raft Technical Cooperation between the Kingdom of Swaziland is
going to expire on June 30, 2000. A copy of the said agreement
is enclosed for reference.

In accordance with Article VI, the govemment of the Republic of
China would like to propose that the said Agreement be renewed
for another three (3) years after its expiration. Any comments
and suggestions in this regard from the govemment of the Kingdom
of Swaziland will be highly appreciated.

The Embassy of the Republic of China avails itself of this oppo-
rtunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of
the Kingdom of Swaziland the assurances of its highest consider-
ation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Kingdom of Sw-
aziland present its compliments to the Embassy of the Republic
of China and has the honour to acknowledge receipt of the latter
's Note No. CE 89/160 and to advise that in accordance with Art-
icle VI, the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland concurs with
the proposal to have Agreement on Handcraft and Technical Co-op-
eration be renewed for another 3 years after expiration.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Kingdom of Swa-
ziland takes this opportunity to renew to the Embassy the Repub-
lic of China the assurance of its highest consideration.

The Embassy of the Republic of China presents its compliments to
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the and has the
honour to refer to the latter's note No. 18 of May 23, 2000, and
to advise that in accordance with Article VI of the Agreement on
Handicraft Technical Cooperation between the Kingdom of Swazila-
nd and the Republic of China, the Agreement is deemed renewed
for another three (3) years once the exchange of notes between
the two parties is completed. It is not required to sign the re-
newed Agreement.

The Embassy of the Republic of China avails itself of this oppo-
rtunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of
the Kingdom of Swaziland the assurance of its highest considera-
tion.
