6.Articles 10, 28, and 32 were amended and promulgated and Articles 13-1, 39-1, and 44-1 added as per the Presidential Order of Hua-Zong-Yi-Yi-Zi No. 09100119150 on June 12, 2002.
7.The title and 62 articles were amended and promulgated as per the Presidential Order of Hua-Zong-Yi-Yi-Zi No. 09200121210 on July 2, 2003; the amendment came into effect on the date of promulgation (previous title: Midwives Act). Since July 23, 2013, the responsibilities of the Department of Health of the Executive Yuan, as listed in Item 4 of the Announcement of Yuan-Tai-Gui-Zi No. 1020141353 issued by the Executive Yuan on July 19, 2013, have been taken charge of by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
8.Article 36 was amended and promulgated as per the Presidential Order of Hua-Zong-Yi-Yi-Zi No. 10500147041 on November 30, 2016.
9.The provisions of Article 12-1 of the Midwifery Personnel Act have been added. Moreover, the provisions of Articles 4, 12, 18, 34, 35, and 45 have been amended and promulgated.
10. Article 10 was amended and promulgated as per the Presidential Order of Hua-Zong-Yi-Yi-Zi No. 10700137631 on December 19, 2018.
11.Amended Article 59 and promulgated under Presidential Decree Hua Tsung (1) Yi Tzu No. 10900003851 on January 15th, 2020
