1. The Act is effective from January 1, 2012 by the Presidential Decree Hua-Tsung (1) Yi-Tzu No. 10000133881 on June 29, 2011, with a total of 60 articles.
2. Articles 10, 15, 43, and 55 amended and promulgated by Presidential Decree Hua-Tsung (1) Yi-Tzu No. 10200096081 on May 22, 2013; the Executive Yuan issued the Order Tai-Wen No. 1030124618 on February 14, 2014 that Paragraph 2 of Article 19 falls under the responsibilities of the Bureau of Labor Insurance, and shall be under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Labor Insurance, Ministry of Labor, as of February 17, 2014.
3. Articles 6, 7, 8, 18, 31, 53, and 55 amended and promulgated by Presidential Decree Hua-Tsung (1) Yi-Tzu No. 10400077901 on July 1, 2015 and came into force on January 1, 2012.
4. The full text of 59 articles amended and promulgated by Presidential Decree Hua-Tsung (1)-Yi-Tzu No. 10700069331 on June 27, 2018 and came into force on the date of promulgation.
5. Articles 26 and 49 amended and promulgated by Presidential Decree Hua-Tsung (1) Yi-Tzu No. 11000006221on January 27, 2021 and came into force on the date of promulgation.
6. The amended Act with all 66 articles was promulgated by the Presidential Decree Hua-Tsung (1) Yi-Tzu No. 11100053321 on June 29, 2022; the effective date is to be determined by the Executive Yuan.
