On behalf of their respective governments, the undersigned
hereby agree as follows:
1. The Agreement of Technical Cooperation between the Government
of the Republic of China and the Government of the Republic
of Palau (“Technical Cooperation Agreement”), entered into
force on December 6, 1984, and this Technical Cooperation
Agreement later was extended to be effective until December 5,
2000.
2. The parties approve the further extension of the Technical
Cooperation Agreement from December 6, 2000 through December
5, 2008.
3. The parties further agree to extend the validity of the
Technical Cooperation Agreement from December 6, 2008 through
December 5, 2010, and subsequently from December 6, 2010
through December 5, 2012, unless it is terminated upon ninety
(90) days’ prior written notice by either party to the
other, or modified in writing, signed by both parties.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being duly authorized, have
signed this Extension of Agreement on dates so indicated.
