Title： MODIFICATION #1 TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TAIPEI ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN THE UNTED STATES AND THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF TAIWAN FOR TECHNICAL COOPERATION IN METEOROLOGY AND FORECAST SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

Article I - Purpose
The purpose of this modification is to extend the
termination date of this agreement and to extend the
authorization of NOAA, the designated representative
of AIT, to expend funds already provided under
Implementing Arrangement #17 from December 31 2005
to June 30, 2006.

This modification is also to provide notice that
NOAA has changed the name of the Forecast Systems
Laboratory(FSL) to the Global Systems Division
(GSD). Therefore, every instance where the term FSL
appears shall henceforth read GSD.

No other terms, conditions, or provisions of the
original agreement are changed by this modification.
