The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) presents its
compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federation
of St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN) and has the honour to refer to the
Agreement between the Government of the Republic of China
(Taiwan) and the Government of the Federation of St. Christopher
and Nevis on the Renewable Energy Consultant-Dispatching Project
signed on 19th July 2013 and inform the latter that it is
proposed that the validity of the afore-mentioned Agreement be
extended one year, i.e., from 19th January 2015 to 18th January
2016, so as to allow the extended service of Taiwanese renewable
energy policy consultant for one year, i.e., from 19th October
2014 to 18th October 2015, to be executed.

The Embassy has the further honor to inform the Ministry that
the then validity of the Bilateral Agreement after 18th January
2016 will be proposed to depend on the implementation situation
and its relevant source of budget.

In this connection, the Ministry is kindly requested to forward
to the Ministry of Energy for considering the afore-mentioned
proposal and reply with a written consent at its earlier date. A
following Note from the Ministry with that written consent to
that effect would constitute an agreement between our two
Governments in this matter and the said Agreement shall enter
into force for one more year soon after.

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) avails itself of
this opportunity to renew its assurances of its highest
consideration to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis presents
its compliments to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan)
in Basseterre and has the honour to refer to the latter ’ s
Diplomatic Note numbered 103313 and dated 8th August, 2014
regarding an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of
China (Taiwan) and the Government of the Federation of St.
Christopher and Nevis on the Renewable Energy
Consultant-Dispatching Project.

In connection with this, the Ministry has the honour to inform
that the Government of the Federation of St. Christopher and
Nevis has no objections to the terms proposed in the said
Diplomatic Note.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis avails
itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the
Republic of China (Taiwan) in Basseterre the assurances of its
highest consideration.
