This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will come into effect on
this 12th day of November 2010.
The Parties to the MOU
Contributor: Chinese Taipei
Recipient: Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)
Secretariat (on behalf of the APEC Policy
Support Unit)

Purpose of the MOU
The Contributor will make the contribution to the APEC
Secretariat in Singapore for the purpose of providing
financial support to the APEC Policy Support Unit (PSU).
The funding is provided on condition that it is used
solely for the PSU ’ s activities, as approved by the
PSU Board.
The Contribution
The Contributor will provide a one-off donation of
USD200,000 to the Recipient for conducting the work
relating to the purpose of this MOU. The Contributor
will pay USD200,000 into an account specified by the
Recipient before April 2011.
Management of the Contribution
The Recipient will manage the Contribution and will
maintain full records of the funds, including detailed
accounts of income and expenditure.
Termination of the MOU
This MOU may be terminated, in whole or in part, by
either Party at any time upon thirty (30) days written
notice of termination. The Recipient will return all
uncommitted funds to the Contributor within sixty (60)
days of the receipt of the notification of termination.
