1.Signed on March 27, 1995; Entered into force on March 27, 1995.
 
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the U-
nited States (TECRO), formerly known as the Coordination Council
for North American Affairs (CCNAA), and the American Institute
in Taiwan (AIT) agree as follows:
1.Paragraph 2 of the Annex shall be amended to add the following

2.Cost of Service
CCNAA will contribute $40,000 (approximately $20,000 from CCN-
AA's designated representative WRPC, approximately $10,000 fr-
om the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and approximately $10,000
from the Committee for Scientific and Scholarly Cooperation w-
ith the United States, Academia Sinica) for the Bilateral Int-
erim Sedimentation Model and International Reservoir Sediment-
ation Project meetings occurring in 1995.
2.Paragraph 3 of the Annex shall be amended to add the following
:
3.Responsibilities of CCNAA
CCNAA shall forward funds to AIT to spend in preparation for
the Bilateral Interim Sedimentation Model and International R-
eservoir Sedimentation Project meetings occurring in 1995.
3.Paragraph 4 of the Annex shall be amended to add the following
:
4.Responsibilties of AIT
AIT shall, through its designated representative, FERC, organ-
ize the Bilateral Interim Sedimentation Model and Internation-
al Reservoir Sedimentation Project Meetings, to occur in 1995,
coordinate participants, travel and lodging arrangements, and
pay for any expenses with the funds provided by CCNAA.
4.This amendment will become effective upon the date of the last
signature hereafter of the representatives of TECRO and AIT.
