1 Pupose ofAppendix
This Appendix provides for the following services to be perfo-
rmed by the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and the Coord-
ination Council for North American Affairs (CCNAA) under the
Agreement:
a The review of the preliminary (Stage 1) and final (Stage 2)
design of the embankment dam and related structures for the
Mutan Reservoir and Dam Project,
b The review of the construction of the embankment dam and re-
lated structures for the Mutan Reservoir and Dam Project.
2 Estimated Cost of Services
The total estimated cost for services provided under this App-
endix is US$331,000.00 (three hundred thirty one thousand U.S.
dollars). A summary of the estimated costs is enclosed.
3 Financial Provisions
Payments and other financial arrangements shall be as set for-
th in Article VII of the AGREEMENT.
4 Duration
This Appendix will become effective upon the date on the last
signature of the duly authorized representatives of CCNAA and
AIT, and will remain in effect until the services described h-
erein, or as amended, are completed. Either party may termina-
te this Appendix as provided for in Article XII of the AGREEM-
ENT.
