Chapter IV Fees for Related Commodity Inspection Bodies
Article 19
The fees for designating product certification bodies shall be collected as follows:
1. Examination fee: NT$25,000 for each application for designation, extension of designation or expansion of the designated scope.
2. Assessment fee: NT$8,000 per day for each assessor. NT$4,000 will be charged for an assessment conducted in less than four hours.
3. Certificate fee: NT$500 for each replacement certificate.
Article 20
The fees for recognizing designated testing laboratories shall be collected as follows:
1. Examination fee: NT$15,000 for each application for recognition, extension of recognition, addition of testing site or items.
2. Assessment fee: NT$8,000 per day for each assessor for assessment, second assessment, surveillance or second surveillance. NT$4,000 will be charged for an assessment conducted in less than four hours.
3. Certificate fee: NT$500 for each replacement of certificate.
The fees for registering a National Certification Body (NCB) and its associated CB Testing Laboratories (CBTL) under the IEC under the Scheme of the IECEE (IEC System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical Equipment) shall be collected as follows:
1. NT$32,000 for each NCB.
2. NT$12.000 for each CBTL.
Article 21
The fees for recognizing quality management system certification bodies and factory inspection bodies shall be collected as follows:
1. Examination fee: NT$12,000 per application for initial recognition, extension recognition or expansion of scope.
2. Assessment fee: NT$8,000 per day for each assessor. NT$4,000 will be charged for an assessment conducted in less than four hours.
3. Certificate fee: NT$2,000 for each new certificate and NT$500 for each replacement certificate.
