1.Signed on June 28, 1996; Entered into force on June 28, 1996.
 
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) records the understanding
and arrangement between the Postal Administrations of the Repub-
lic of China and the Republic of Nicaragua in relation to the P-
ostal Giro System.
In response to the plan of introduction of the Postal Giro Serv-
ice to Nicaragua, the Postal Administrations of the Republic of
China agrees to render its service experience to its counterpart
in Nicaragua by giving the necessary assistance as follows:
1.To help establish the Postal Giro Service and its automatic a-
ccounting system in Nicaragua.
2.To provide Nicaragua with some related equipments which inclu-
de software programming.
3.To send postal officials for technical guidance in Nicaragua
and to receive Nicaragua postal officials to the Directorate
General of Posts to study Postal Giro Service.
This Memorandum of Understanding is signed in duplicate in Ta-
ipei on 28th day of June, 1996.
