1.Signed on June 27, and 30, 1988; Entered into force on June 30, 1988.
 
Paragraph I
1.Both parties will organize an annual exchange of up to 10 sci-
entists in all fields of academic teaching and research.
2.The aim of this reciprocal exchange is to support the coopera-
tion between scientists and their institutes of both sides. T-
he programme is not intended for information trips of general
nature.
3.The duration of study visits should generally not be less than
four weeks and not exceed three months.

Paragragh II
International travel costs for the participants in this program-
me will be borne by the sending country and costs of living by
the host country.

Paragraph III
The sending country may suggest candidates to be considered und-
er this exchange programme. Priority should be given to those s-
cientists who have academic ties with their counterparts of the
host country.

Paragraph IV
Details of the exchange programme (dates, financial support etc.
) will be fixed by exchange of letters.

Paragraph V
This agreement shall come into effect as soon as it has been si-
gned by both sides. It is valid for three years and will be aut-
omatically renewed for a further year unless one of the contract
partners gives notice of the termination six months in advance.
