Dear Dr. Hsi-huang Chen,

I acknowledge with thanks your letter no. 01-CHR- dated 31 May 2
001 concerning the renewal of Agreement on Agricultural Technic-
al Cooperation between our two countries for the next two years.
On behalf of the Government of Bahrain, I extend my appreciation
for the work being done under the Agricultural Technical Mission
stationed in Bahrain.

At present the horticultural activities are limited to florlcul-
ture. However, in the future, we would be in need of additional
experts to cover other areas for agricultural improvement and
productivity. Therefore, this should be considered in order to
have a detailed and comprehensive assessment of agricultural se-
ctor.

WE thank you for your assistance and look forward to continue s-
trengthening the mutual cooperation between our two countries.

Yours sincerely,

Khalid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa
Minister of Housing & Agriculture
