Purpose:
This modification #001 concerns activities above and beyond the
annual activities listed in section IV of IA#3. The IA#3 is
being modified to add an additional $280,000.00, which will be
paid in installments for the Hardware and Software
Enhancements/Replacements to upgrade the Taiwan CWB NEXRAD Radar
to Dual Polarization. The $280,000.00, which includes a $75,000
down-payment, will cover ROC Electronics Technician assistance
if required, travel, and training in Taiwan by NWSTC staff. A
$75,000 down-payment for purchase of long lead items is required
in order to reduce cost if purchased in 2012. Activities under
this modification will begin upon signature of both parties and
are expected to be completed by December 31, 2012. AII of the
other terms and conditions of IA#3 remain in effect.

Modification #2 To Agreement Between The Taipei Economic and
Cultural Representative Office In The United States And The
American Institute in Taiwan For Implementing Arrangement #3
Provisions of Operation, Maintenance, and Reconditioning Support
for the WSR-88D System to the Agreement between American
Institute in Taiwan and the Taipei Economic and Cultural
Representative Office in the United States for Technical
Cooperation in Scientific and Weather Technology Systems Support

Purpose:
This modification #002, revises modification #001, last signed
on October 12, 2012, by changing the period of performance and
the funding amount. The activities under modification #001
remain the same: Hardware and Software Enhancements/Replacements
to upgrade the Taiwan CWB NEXRAD Radar to Dual Polarization. The
period of performance for conducting the activities is changed
from date of last signature of modification #001 through
December 31, 2012, to the date of last signature under this
modification #2 through September 30, 2013. The funding amount
under modification #1 is changed. Rather than TECRO reimbursing
AIT $280,000.00, TECRO will instead reimburse AIT $403,019.76,
which includes a $75,000.00 down payment. The final contractor
cost is listed on the Firm Fixed Price Proposal from the
contractor. AII of the other terms and conditions of IA#3 remain
in effect.
