Dear Chairperson Lin

This Exchange of Letters is made effective on the first day of
April, 2019, by the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT),
represented by Director W. Brent Christensen and by the
Coordination Council for North American Affairs, Headquarters
for Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the
U.S. (TECRO), represented by Chairperson Lianron Lin.

By this exchange of letters, both parties agree to the
following:
1. AIT/T grants the full, sole, unlimited, and rent-free use of
the property located at 133, Po Ai Road, Taipei, to TECRO.
2. TECRO grants the full, sole, unlimited and rent-free use of
the property located at lot No. 138, Rui ’ An Section,
Sub-section 1, Daan District, Taipei, and the property
located at 50 Jen Min Road, Shihlin, Taipei, to AIT/T.
3. The term of this agreement begins on April 1, 2019, and ends
on June 30, 2019. AIT/T and TECRO have the option, upon
mutual consent, of renewing this agreement on the same terms
and conditions set forth in this letter, for a further period
to be determined.
4. Any back rents owing among AIT and TECRO for prior occupation
and use of these properties are hereby null and void.
5. This Agreement may be terminated upon the mutual written
agreement of AIT and TECRO.

I affirm that I am duly authorized to enter into the above
legally enforceable agreement, effective on the first day of
April, 2019.

Christensen dated March 11, 2019, this Exchange of Letters is
made effective on the first day of April, 2019 by the
Coordination Council for North American Affairs, Headquarters
for Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the
U.S. (hereinafter referred to as “ TECRO ” ), represented by
Chairperson Lianron Lin, and by the American Institute in
Taiwan, Taipei Office (hereinafter referred to as “ AIT/T ” ),
represented by Director W. Brent Christensen.

By this exchange of letters, both parties enter into an
Agreement on the following:

2. TECRO grants the full, sole, unlimited and rent-free use of
