1.Signed on September 6, 2006; Entered into force on eptember 6, 2006.
 
The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) and the
Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore),
hereby agree to amend the Mutual Recognition Arrangement on
Conformity Assessment (MRA) between the parties concluded on
November 28, 2005, by the addition of the following regulation
in Annex III of the MRA under the column for the Separate
Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (TPKM):

'7. Particular Criteria Governing Designated Testing
Laboratories for Digital Terrestrial Television Receivers
(announced on November 10, 2005) and amendments thereto,'

This Amendment is made in duplicate in the English and Chinese
languages. This Amendment comes into effect on the date of
signature by representatives of the parties. The MRA shall
hereafter be read and construed in conjunction with this
Amendment. The term "Arrangement" as used in the MRA and all
other references to the MRA, howsoever expressed, in all other
instruments and agreements shall for all purposes refer to the
MRA as amended by this Amendment. Save for the amendment
reflected herein, all other the terms and conditions of the MRA
shall remain in full force and effect.
