Subject: Extension of the Agreement on Agricultural and Fishery
Cooperation between The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in
Hanoi, Vietnam (TECO) and the Vietnam Economic and Cultural
Office in Taipei (VECO)

To strengthen mutual cooperation based on implementation of the
Agreement on Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation between the
Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, Vietnam (TECO) and
the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei (VECO) signed
on 6th May 1999, I would like to propose to extend the validity
of the above mentioned Agreement to 3years (from 6th May 2005 to
6th May 2008).

Your confirmed letter and this letter will formulate an
Agreement between VECO and TECO in term of extending the
validity of the captioned Agreement to 6th May 2008. The
extension will be valid as of date written in your replied
letter. I look forward to receiving your letter with regards the
above mentioned proposal and please accept, sir, the assurances
of my highest consideration.

Regarding the Agreement on Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation
between TECO and VECO sigried on 6th May 1999, we would like to
inform you that our side has agreed to extend the validity of
the above mentioned Agreement for 3 years (from 6th May 2005 to
6th May 2008).

Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration.
