Title: Charge Rates for the Taichung Free Port CH

Article 1
These regulations are enacted in accordance with Paragraph 2, Article 42 of the Act for the Establishment and Management of Free Ports.
Article 2
For any free port enterprise or non-free-port-enterprise which has entered into a contract with the Taichung Harbor Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications (referred to as "this Bureau" hereunder) for cooperation on construction, operations by lease, etc., the administrative expense is charged according to the contract but not charged otherwise.
For any free port enterprise or non-free-port-enterprise which utilizes the existing area leased by a carrier or business for operation, the administrative expense is collected from the original lessee according to the contract entered into by this Bureau and the carrier or business but not from the free port enterprise or non-free-port-enterprise.
Article 3
Charge rates are prescribed as follows:
1. For free port enterprise or non-free-port-enterprise to apply for entry for operation, the review expense is NT$2,000 per case.
2. Personnel or vehicles to enter the Free Port, a long-term access permit is NT$200 per case, effective five years.
3. Personnel or vehicles to enter the Free Port, a short-term access permit is NT$200 per case, effective six months.
The above charge rates are subject to change as needed.
Article 4
All expenses stipulated in this regulation shall be paid at the designated office within a required time limit according to the payment sheet.
Article 5
Nonobservance of this regulation in paying prescribed expenses is to be handled pursuant to the Charges and Fees Act.
Article 6
These regulations shall come into force from the day of promulgation.
