This Standard is enacted pursuant to Article 6.1 of the Fire Act (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”).

Before to use the fire safety equipments for which no domestic national standards has been made or can’t be tested at home, necessary documents like foreign standards, report of examination (which may be made either at home or abroad), and qualified test certificates or specification certificates shall be submitted to the central regulating authority for approval.
Items of the above-mentioned fire safety equipments that need approval and the necessary documents will be determined by the central fire regulating authority otherwhere.
